‘Saddest story I’ve told’: British journalist deeply moved by violence in Myanmar

Buddhist extremists in Myanmar are causing irreparable harm to their country

Jonathan Miller reports on “the purging of an unwanted people” and the “systematic slaughter” in Myanmar. Over 400,000 Rohingya Muslims, considered to be one of the most-persecuted minorities in the world, are fleeing the violence in Myanmar. Among them are almost 300,000 children. Refugee camps across the border in Bangladesh are overflowing, and aid agencies fear it could get worse, warning up to a million could flee. Channel 4 News has been in the region to see it all first hand.
